Do You Offer Lighthouse Related Goods or Services?

Do you sell lighthouse related items, such as jewelry, house and garden products, or clothing? Do you offer lighthouse related services such as a tour, or a lighthouse bed and breakfast? Then you should be advertising on Lighthouse News, where your ad will be seen by your target audience, who are ready and eager to buy your goods.

Lighthouse News has nearly 20,000 page views per month from over 7,500 unique visitors. Most visitors view at least two pages, and many even more. Lighthouse News has almost 700 subscribers who receive email newsletters of the articles, and your ad can be placed in the footer of each newsletter.

One of the two biggest draws into the site are people looking for lighthouses for sale, and wanting to have a lighthouse keeper job. As we know, there are not very many lighthouses for sale, and there are certainly no jobs as a lighthouse keeper. But these people will convert very well to your lighthouse product, and definitely to lighthouse tours and lodgings. Most of our unique visitors are US based, with the remainder from the UK and Canada.

How Much Will It Cost To Advertise?

Right now, Lighthouse News is offering the standard 125 by 125 ad for only $10 USD per month, or you can choose to have a 165 pixel wide in the left sidebar instead. Payment will be made through PayPal for both of our protection. These will be placed “above the fold” and so will be visible to every person viewing the site. Above the fold means that a person viewing the page in the standard 1024×768 resolution will see the banner without having to scroll down. You are welcome to design your own, or we can create one for you, for the nominal fee of $5 USD. What do they look like? Well, check out some examples of a possible design below. Samples of advertising If you are interested in a banner ad, the standard 468×60 size, the cost for this will be $25 USD per month, with placement just below the featured story and visible again, “above the fold.” You can also choose a 250 pixel wide advertisement in the right sidebar, just below the featured images. The cost for that is $15 USD. To add the advertisement to the email subscription, please figure on adding $5 to the cost. There are currently around 450 subscribers, with more signing up daily. All advertisements, except the full banner, come with a nice little text description on your site or services to entice visitors to click through.
