Grand Haven Lighthouse Raffle

Grand Haven Lighthouse Replica PlayhouseWell, it’s not the real Grand Haven lighthouse. And you have to live in or very near to Grand Haven, Michigan. But if you do, you can enter the raffle to win a playhouse for your kids, or yourself. Remember, aging is inevitable, but maturity is optional. So feel free to keep it for yourself, if you win.The Tri-Cities Area Habitat For Humanity is hosting its second annual playhouse raffle. And this year, the playhouse, designed and built by Mike Fraser of Out on a Limb Playhouses, is a replica of the Grand Haven Lighthouse, originally built in 1857. All of the proceeds from the raffle will help Tri-Cities Area Habitat for Humanity build affordable housing.

The playhouse is on display on the lawn of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 524 Washington Ave., Grand Haven, MI. The drawing will be held September 18 at Fifth Third Bank, 233 Washington Ave., at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. They may be purchased at the Habitat for Humanity office, Rycenga Building Center, Chemical Bank, Macatawa Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Jumpin’ Java, The Paper Place, Borr’s Bootery, Sweet Temptations, Joyful Noise, Tri-Cities Family YMCA and Grand Haven City Hall.
