Downeast Maine Lighthouse Cruise

Join the American Lighthouse Foundation for a fun and educational cruise along the rugged Downeast Maine coast on Sunday, July 20, 2008. All proceeds benefit the foundation’s lighthouse preservation efforts.
This cruise aboard the Bar Harbor Whale Watch Company’s vessel Bay King III will pass close to 10 lighthouses, including some that are rarely seen: Bear Island, Bass Harbor Head, Great Duck Island,
Baker Island, Petit Manan, Nash Island, Narraguagus (Pond Island), Prospect Harbor, Winter Harbor and Egg Rock, and also the Islesford Life Saving Station. The cruise will be narrated by American Lighthouse Foundation historian Jeremy D’Entremont. The cruise will last approximately 4.5 hours.
