Lighthouse Cruise In Maine

Join the American Lighthouse Foundation on Friday, June 27, 2008 aboard the M/V Monhegan for a sunset cruise past four lighthouses and enjoy some of midcoast Maine’s beautiful coastal scenery.

This two-and-a-half hour cruise will include Rockland Breakwater Light, Indian Island Light, Curtis Island Light, and Owls Head Light.

The narrator for this cruise will be ALF historian Jeremy D’Entremont.

The Monhegan will depart from Rockland’s Harbor Park, right across the street from the Maine Lighthouse Museum. Snacks will be available on board or you may also bring your own food (Please note: M/V Monhegan does not allow you to bring alcoholic beverages on board).

Tickets for this cruise are $30 for ALF members or $35 for non-members. You can purchase your tickets online, by mail using the printable form at the site or by calling the American Lighthouse Foundation’s Rockland, Maine office at 207-594-4174.

Lighthouse News will be going on this cruise. Plan to join with me.

I hope you made it, Monica. The cruise was absolutely great, with perfect weather and good company.

Unfortunately, only about 60 people went. There was room for 200 or more. :(
