The Belle Toute Trust has announced that they will be releasing a press release in the next day or two after discussions among the trustees. It has been confirmed that the price has been drastically reduced on the lighthouse. Perhaps we can soon hear some great news about this iconic lighthouse in Sussex.

An A-MAZE-ing Lighthouse
Now this is a work of art. The recently rebuilt Blackistone Lighthouse on St. Clement’s Island, Maryland, has been turned into a truly a-maze-ing creation, in which you can get lost. Bowles Farms, of Clement, MD has carved its likeness into 15 acres of cornfields for the month of October. It guarantees you will spend hours in a lighthouse.

Lighthouse Fun Run For Breast Cancer
If you’re in New South Wales, Australia, on Sunday, October 19, get out your running shoes for the very scenic Run For Breast Cancer. The Coordinator for the event wants to see at least five runners or walkers for each breast cancer patient on the North Coast. That translates to 1000 or so participants.

Faux Lighthouse Shines Bright Again
A lighthouse built in the center of a traffic circle in downtown Brigantine, NJ, has been restored and lit. Thanks to the efforts (and muscle) of city councilman Ralph Aversa, the faux lighthouse, once used as the police station and then as a museum, sports a new coat of paint (white and Lighthouse Red) and a revolving light magnified with a mirror.Continued...
Lighthouse Golf Course
Now here is a factoid I didn’t know. On Fair Isle, a birdwatcher’s paradise 25 miles south of Shetland Island, Scotland, sits two lighthouses at opposite ends of the island. To while away the hours in the 1960s, the lighthouse keepers built a golf course (this is Scotland, birthplace of the game) near the South Lighthouse.Continued...
